We are a non-profit organization formed by a group of professionals who are willing to help teenage girls in our society. We show our love and concern for their needs and make them feel at home by providing a place where they can study and grow in a safe environment. We also help to build up their confidence and enable them to have a better future.
At the beginning, in 1999, we used the premises on loan from the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary who was very generous to let us use the premises on Boundary Street. In 2000 we moved to our present site on Argyle Street. In 2005 we added an additional "Half Way Home." We serve mainly teenage girls aged 14 – 18 who have to leave their own homes and stay with us due to various reasons. This service ceased in 2007. Our supervisor and social workers provide them and their families with the relevant counselling and guidance.
